To show our commitment to providing healthy products we provide a color coded system which shows the level of caffeine in your coffee. The customer will see a red, yellow or green mark, which indicates the level of caffeine. As we are preparing your coffee we will mark the cup to remind the customers about the level of caffeine with red indicating 200 – 300 mg of caffeine, yellow 100 – 200 mg, and green less than 100 mg. Every person’s body is different and this system serves as a health advisory to our customers who are caffeine conscious.
At SPR Coffee we provide our customers with personal space to make them feel like they are in their second home. We originally had the idea to provide transportable coffee cups which the customer could take any where they wanted. We specially import our coffee cups and sleeves from Chicago, U.S.A and these cups allows our customers to go for a stroll and enjoy their coffee at the same time. The regular coffee shop customer and coffee addict are very different. When they go to drink coffee, go on dates, or do anything their motivation and way of thinking are different.
To the regular customers, the coffee shop is just a place to spend money, but to the coffee addict the coffee shop is a giant magnet. It doesn’t matter how hard they try, they eventually will go back to the coffee shop. It’s something they can’t resist. They are crazy about it and they always want more. Coffee addicts love everything about the coffee shops: the air, the light, the sound, the atmosphere, the feeling, they love everything about it. Since they enjoy the coffee shop so much time seems to disappear while they are in the shop.
There are different kinds of coffee addicts, but many of the addicts have their own creative imagination and you can spot a coffee addict through a common trend which is that they can be found staring into their coffee cup or the corner, oblivious to the outside world as their mind travels to all kinds of places. Coffee addicts hope to escape the grind of the big city and the coffee shop is the only place where they can find serenity and support which keeps them coming back and therefore makes them important resources to the coffee shop.
Coffee addicts always say, they are creatures of habit and they will always go to the same coffee shop they love. For this reason when we design the coffee shop we design it to emulate a style you might find in a foreign country, in which the coffee shop must have particular art work, decorations and atmosphere. The coffee shop must also have the aroma of coffee in the air so the customers can carry that aroma with them, even while they are at home.

Espresso is the crown jewel of the coffee menu.
The popular coffees of today, such as cappuccino, latte and mocha are all made from espresso. Espresso is made using 9 grams of coffee beans and 20-30 ml of coffee which takes 20-25 seconds to drip out. In the finest espresso, the aroma wafts out of the coffee cup, and as you drink it the aroma will stimulate your senses. After you inhale the aroma you can feel the body of the espresso moving down your throat and once you have finished the espresso comes the soothing after taste.
The combination of aroma, flavor, body, and after taste is what makes a great espresso. These four components of a great espresso depend on the coffee beans, the way the coffee beans have been ground, the amount of time it takes the espresso to drip out, air pressure and temperature. As these factors change, the flavor of the espresso will change as well. Therefore, you must use the feelings of love, calm and happiness in order to make a tasty espresso.
Sincerity, total commitment and all of your heart must be used to make a good espresso. Making a delicious espresso will make you feel happy. A cup of espresso is not just the sound made from the ingredients and the coffee machine, but it is a romantic product made through the merging of people and life. The process of making the espresso can give you great satisfaction and therefore it’s crucial to have unlimited belief in your ability in order to make a great coffee.
The flavor of espresso is very strong which leads people to believe that it has lots of caffeine, but that is not the truth. If the coffee bean is cinnamon roasted or if the coffee is extracted as slow drip roasted coffee the result will be high amounts of caffeine. Using a drip coffee machine which takes a long time will result in higher caffeine levels compared to a coffee machine which makes the coffee quickly (25 seconds). Knowledgeable coffee drinkers prefer coffee from an espresso coffee machine. What this means is people who choose to drink an Americano are making a more intelligent decision compared to people who drink the coffee of the day or fresh brew. The decision is intelligent based on the level of caffeine as well, because a cappuccino has 75mg of caffeine, a medium Americano has 150mg of caffeine, while the fresh brew has a much higher level of caffeine, around 240 mg of caffeine.

The terminology used in a coffee shop is different than everyday English, so it’s important to learn these terms.
Generally a large cup of coffee is 16oz, medium 12oz and small 8oz. However, in America a large cup of coffee is 20 oz, a medium is 16oz and a small is 12oz. Furthermore, they are not called large, medium and small, but they are called venti, grande, and tall.
